Stena RoRo has taken delivery of the Stena Foreteller from the Chinese shipyard CMI Weihai and the vessel is now on its way home to replace the Stena Forerunner, which is also to be converted.
During the spring, Stena RoRo has been responsible for the conversion of the Stena Foreteller, which is operated by Stena Line and will begin operating in mid-July on the Europort (Rotterdam) – Immingham route.
By installing an extra cargo deck, the load capacity has been increased by 30%, thereby achieving correspondingly lower emissions per unit load. A fourth cargo deck has been built on top of the existing three, boosting the number of lane metres from 3,000 to 4,000.
